Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Foundation are a group of supportive professionals in the medical, business and religious community. Their advice, guidance and generosity provide mission-based
leadership and strategic governance for OCMO programs and fundraising events.

Dr. Lloyd Muzangwa (President)

Dr. Lloyd Muzangwa has completed his Post-Doctoral Associate studies in Hawaii where he worked in field of Astrochemistry and Astrophysics. He holds a BSC Honors Biochemistry degree from the University of Zimbabwe and a PhD in chemistry and chemical physics from Marquette University in the United States. He finished Medical School with St Georges
University school of medicine and is now a resident doctor with Northwell Health in New York. Dr. Lloyd Muzangwa has used his knowledge and experience to develop a water treatment system that can solve the problem faced by Africa involving the lack of access to good sources of clean water. He is also President and Founder of Oasis Children’s Medical Outreach (OCMO), Health Care Director of Kurera Children’s Trust, Founder of AFRO Electronic
Medical Record System (EMRS), Co-founder and Managing Partner of Gweru children’s specialist hospital, Creator and Designer of MAJI 1200 and MAJI 350 solar-powered water
purification system and Authored one book and over 30 publications and presentations.

Jonathan Sawyer (Vice President)

Jonathan has a background in urban planning with interests in public health and international
development. Lately, he has dabbled as an entrepreneur in the technology sector. He is excited
for Oasis to provide cutting edge medical practices and technology to those that need it the most.

Dr. Aaron Perdue( Secretary- Treasurer)

Dr Aaron is the executive pastor of Charis Christian Center located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA. As a minister, he emphasizes a practical application of scripture to empower others to reach their full potential in life. He has a heart for the nations and has helped many missionaries and nonprofits expand their impact around the globe. In addition to being a full-
time pastor, Aaron is a gifted classical musician. He has performed throughout the world and holds degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Rice University. Aaron, his wife Heather, their son Fisher, and their daughter Ada enjoy taking adventures throughout the beautiful state of Colorado.

Dr. Emmanuel Magara (Director)

Dr Magara graduated with his doctorate in medicine (MD) degree from Harvard Medical School. He then completed a year of general surgery training in New York before moving to Philadelphia
where he did his specialty residency training in diagnostic radiology with a concentration in molecular imaging and nuclear medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently a
physician-fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University sub-specializing in breast cancer imaging and interventions. He is the recipient of many awards including the inaugural Zimbabwean Achievers Award for Academic Excellence. He is board-certified with the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and board-eligible with the American Board of Radiology.
